CHAMOMILE FLOWERS ORGANIC
Description:
Chamomile is perhaps the most common used herb in herbal medicine today. It is a popular tea for digestive and inflammatory issues.
Chamomile Flowers are grown along the Nile in Egypt. The sandy loam and nutrients from the Nile create perfect growing conditions. Growing and processing herbs and spices in much of Egypt is still done in the traditional way: hand planted, hand harvested, and hand processed. For some crops like whole chamomile and calendula flowers, hand processing is required to keep the larger portion of the flowers intact.
The climate in Egypt is ideal for chamomile where it thrives in the sunshine. Chamomile is hand harvested as soon as the blossoms appear and is sun dried in the traditional manner so that they keep most of their fragrance and taste.
